- ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆I had a policy with them for about 2 years. In the summer of 2016 I was told that in June of 2017 a ticket would be falling off and my insurance rate would significantly drop. I called at the end of May 2017 to confirm that it was still a go. It was. Then 2 weeks ago I went to do get it taken care of and they ran a new quote and somehow my insurance rate was going to go up again. Not sure how this is possible when my driving record has been clean for almost 3 years. Then I cancelled my insurance after I found a significantly cheaper rate then somewhere else. To make sure it was the right time to do it I called to see how much I would be pro-rated back. It was somewhere around 120. Great!! I cancelled my insurance planning to use the $120 for my next down payment. I just called and my pro-ration was only $35. From $120 to $35 that's a big drop. They just apologized and said their was nothing they could do. I don't appreciate being lied to about my rates going down or how much money I am going to get back and then not receiving it.
